What Expenses Does the European Union Cover During a Mobility Stay?
The European Union covers accommodation and meals for the entire duration of your mobility stay. Additionally, travel expenses are reimbursed up to 275 Euros per participant.
What are the Required Documentation for Different Modes of Transport?
- Private Car: Submit receipts for fuel. If renting, provide an invoice from the rental company.
- Bus/Coach: Submit the ticket.
- Train: Submit the ticket.
- Plane (Flight): Submit the boarding pass and invoice (ensure you obtain these before your flight).
- Taxi: Not reimbursable.
What are the Necessary Travel Documents for Reimbursement in EU Projects?
To receive reimbursement, you must provide documentation that verifies your travel from and back to your departure point. The departure point must be in the country of your sending organization.
When and How to Submit Travel Documents to the Project Organizer
- Arrival at Mobility Destination: Bring the required travel documents with you.
- Return Home: Send the travel documents to the project organizer by post or email. Do not lose these documents, as they are necessary for reimbursement.
Can I Submit Electronic/Digital Receipts?
Yes, you can generally submit electronic or digital receipts if both of the following conditions are met:
- You received the invoice, ticket, or boarding pass via email.
- Printing the document is not required for travel.
In such cases, email the electronic documents to us in a single email. Otherwise, you need to send the original printed documents used for your travel.
How to Obtain an Electronic/Digital Receipt for Travel?
To obtain a digital boarding pass, you must check-in online. Online check-in usually opens 24 hours before departure and remains available until 45 minutes before departure.
What If the Boarding Pass Is Lost?
If you lose your boarding pass or travel ticket, you will need to provide a Declaration of Honour and obtain proof from the travel agency or travel company to receive reimbursement.

Who Can Apply for an Erasmus+ Internship?
Current students or recent graduates aged 18 to 30 are eligible to apply for an Erasmus+ Internship.
What Is the Application Procedure?
To apply for an internship at Ad Astra, please contact us. If your application is deemed a good fit for the organization, Ad Astras' team will contact you to proceed with the recruitment stages, which include completing small tasks and an interview.
What Skills and Qualifications Are Required for the Internship?
The internship is a learning opportunity. Key qualifications include strong motivation, a willingness to work in the youth sector, and a positive attitude. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
When Does the Internship Start and How Long Does It Last?
The start date is flexible and will be agreed upon by both the candidate and Ad Astra. The internship duration is 6 months.
Can I Apply After the Internship Deadline?
There are no deadlines for application. You can apply at any time.
Is the Internship Paid?
Yes, interns receive payment according to Erasmus+ standards. Interns also benefit from other program perks, including a certification upon successful completion of the internship.
What Are My Responsibilities and Daily Tasks as an Intern?
Intern responsibilities vary based on the needs of Ad Astra members. Tasks may include research, content creation, social media management, volunteer coordination, event organization, and working on personal projects.
How Many Hours Per Week Are Required, and Can the Internship Be Done Remotely?
Interns are expected to work between 20 and 30 hours per week. Work hours are flexible and can be arranged according to personal preferences. However, the internship cannot be done remotely.
